At FEV Fire Suppression, we understand that compliance with FIA Technical List 16 is essential for circuit and competition vehicles. Only homologated fire extinguishers are approved for many championships, and they must meet strict performance, installation, maintenance and age criteria.

FIA Technical List 16 covers fire suppression systems homologated by the FIA for plumbedin installation in competition cars and for many circuit based events, a vehicle must be equipped with a Technical List 16 approved system that is less than ten years old and serviced within the past two years.

At FEV, we supply a full range of approved fire extinguisher kits, incorporating both gas and foam technologies to meet the demanding requirements of motorsport applications. The N-TEC Series utilizes FK-5-12 clean extinguishing agent, delivering near-instant fire suppression while safeguarding sensitive components such as electronics and other valuable assets on the vehicle. These advanced gas systems are electrically non-conductive, leave no residue, and are fully suitable for use on electric and hybrid vehicles.

The F-TEC Series employs the latest freeze-protected firefighting foam, engineered for rapid fire suppression and enhanced re-ignition resistance, ensuring reliable protection under extreme conditions.

All of our systems are designed in compliance with FIA Technical List 16 regulations, ensuring certified performance, correct agent quantity, nozzle placement, and activation methods for motorsport competition. They are available with both mechanical pull-cable and electrical activation, and in a range of sizes to accommodate different vehicle weights, available space, and regulatory requirements.
