TOWING EYE

FEV branded Towing eyes, compliant with MS UK regulations. 300mm overall length, available in red and yellow fitted with webbing pull tag.
High quality UK made Stainless steel wire towing eye with a breaking strain in excess of 2.5 tons, suitable for front or rear fitment. It is mandatory from 1st January 2021 to equip vehicles with two front and two rear positioned equally either side of the longitude centre line and situated 25mm forward of the adjacent bodywork with clearance of 100mm above and below to enable recovery crews to attach straps and shackles. The towing eye should be fixed to a structural part of the chassis with a minimum of M10 (Grade8.8) fixings. This was previously a recommendation, Motorsport UK have now made this specification mandatory for all vehicles except from vehicles of a period A to F, and also single seater vehicles as long as a suitable towing point can be clearly identified.
