Among our innovations:
Remote Charge Technology: This pioneering technology, introduced by FEV several years ago, is integrated into some of our gas plumbed-in extinguisher systems. It allows us to use smaller cylinders by eliminating the need for propellant space inside the bottle. A separate capsule filled with Co² and a detonator is attached to the pressure inlet. When activated, the remote charge rapidly pressurises the system, expelling the extinguishant consistently and effectively suppressing fires.
PTDV Technology: FEV’s Pressure Transfer Discharge Valve, patented in 2005, provides us with a unique competitive edge. Combined with our remote charge technology, it offers the most effective fire suppression discharge. The innovative lightweight flange design, featuring inlet and outlet ports, allows the extinguishant to exit the cylinder at a significantly faster rate. Importantly, it incorporates a fail-safe solution, ensuring reliability in critical situations.
